Who is Martin Short?

BORN TO SHOOT THE WORLD AROUND ME

Known in South Africa and abroad for his compelling and creative style, Martin Short is an artist, lecturer and photographer. A happily married father, and former (wannabe professional) cyclist, he is a romantic at heart with a passion for fusing the culture and character of each project in a way that’s uniquely beautiful and authentic. With loads of happy clients who rave about his work, Martin is one of the most sought-after photographers and cinematographers anywhere.

Providing high-touch customer service. I take a personal approach to giving you the best photography and films available. Starting with getting to know you and your style (yours personally or that of your brand), I collaborate to exceed your expectations so that every collection we deliver touches your heart, ignites your memories, and simply stands out from the crowd. Photos and films is my art, my craft and my passion, and I put my heart and soul into every aspect of your wedding day, corporate launch or portrait photo shoot.

CAPTURING MOMENTS AS THEY HAPPEN

Hopefully my amenable, friendly and relaxed approach will help you feel at ease while I take your photos. Even if you book a relatively simple head-shot / engagement session I will bring just enough of your personality out to make you actually look like you in your photos. If you book me for a wedding session / commercial shoots, we’ll be able to spend a bit more time creating images that capture different aspects of your personality / products and make the photos look exactly like you want to.

If you have been tasked with arranging photography for your wedding, event or company/organisation, I can help with the whole process.
